WorldAfro is an international marketplace where Afro and African brands, artisans and shops sell directly to buyers worldwide.
What WorldAfro is
WorldAfro is a multi-vendor marketplace. Independent sellers open their own store, publish their own products and set their own prices. WorldAfro provides the storefront, the search and discovery experience, the checkout, and the secure payment infrastructure.
Every order is fulfilled by the seller who listed the product. When a basket contains items from several stores, the order is automatically split per store so each seller sees and ships only their own items.
How the marketplace works
- Buyers browse by category, country, price and proximity, then pay once in a secure checkout.
- Payments are processed by Stripe. Each seller is paid through their own connected Stripe account.
- WorldAfro charges a single, transparent 8% commission on the product value of each sale.
- Sellers manage stock, orders, fulfilment and payouts from the Seller Center.

For buyers: a single, trustworthy place to find Afro hair care, beauty, fashion, fabrics, food, jewellery, home and art products, from stores based across Africa, Europe and North America.
For sellers: a way to reach an international audience without building and maintaining an online shop, with payouts handled automatically.
